Stick People Poses

First Grade

Students learn to draw various poses with stick people.

First brainstorm a number of different poses:

Then students choose their favorite pose to make into a work of art. Draw the stick person pose with black oil pastel.  Use Tempera Cakes to paint rainbow colors around.

Owls: Glue and Chalk drawing

5th grade
Students will learn about owls:

Students will sketch an owl on scrap paper to practice.  Then they will draw it with glue on black paper.  Let dry.  Next week when the glue is dry they will use chalk to color it.
